Good morning bread friend!
I donβt think anything amuses or delights me more than how many parents tell me that their kids love my bread. These sourdough loaves are super hearty and nutritious! This is because of all the local grains that I use, the high percentage of whole wheat flour in every loaf, and the slow fermentation process that goes into making the bread.
After saying all that. I have a favor to ask. But first I have to make a confession.
π Confession:
As a kidβ¦ I definitely didnβt eat bread like this.
The biggest difference between white bread and wheat bread that I was aware of was that one was much easier to smash into a super flat sandwich in my school lunches.
However⦠I definitely did grow up eating English muffins.
My mom bought English muffins all the time! We ate them with butter on them, we made fried egg & cheese sandwiches with them, we put peanut butter and jelly on them, we made homemade βegg McMuffinsβ with Jimmy Dean sausage patties.
The English muffin may have been the first canvas on which I got creative with cooking as a kid.
A while back I saw some recipes for sourdough English muffins and my reaction was literally, βwaitβ¦ thats a thing?!?β
Well, Iβve made a few hundred of them since ;)
Iβve been tweaking recipes, and baking methods. I havenβt landed on a formula yet that I love enough to call finished and ready for saleβ¦ but Iβm increasingly confident that it will be the next product that Iβll be able to offer.
This is where you come in.
π€ Favor:
Today, in addition to taking orders for our standard sourdough loaves, I have a quick 2 question survey for you. The survey is about English muffins and the results will help me plan for next steps for the bakery.
πThank you very much for considering sharing 90 seconds to fill out this survey.
Note: because I donβt currently ship baked goods, Iβd ask that you please only answer if youβre in the area.
Cheers!
