Good morning bread friends,

I hope your week is going great. Next week is Thanksgiving. The holiday where we all pause and feast… and hopefully slow down and reflect on what we’re thankful for.

Gratitude is an important practice. So much so, that we’ve established a gratitude ritual as part of our kids’ bedtime.

When I stop to think about what I’m grateful for, surely this Bread & Justice community is on the short list. Getting to bake bread and write for you all is a delight. Likewise, it is a balm to my soul to be routinely reminded that there are so many people (near and far) that have a sincere desire to move towards building a stronger more just society.

So… before I announce that I’m accepting pre-orders for the holiday… I just want to say Thank You for being here. 🤗

Pre-Order Logistics

As usual, we’re currently taking pre-orders for Sourdough Loaves & also English Muffins for this Saturday.

ALSO, for anyone who is interested in having a loaf from Bread & Justice on your Thanksgiving table… I’m doing a special WEDNESDAY EVENING bread bake next week.

You can pre-order bread now for that also. Here are the logistics for pickup for the holiday bake sale:

• Date: Wed, Nov 26th

• Time: 4pm - 7pm 👈 pickup window

• What: Loaves of sourdough bread (no English muffins)

In my humble opinion… this hearty sourdough bread goes great with your thanksgiving dinner, and for those who partake in the classic day-after sandwiches… this could really take that sandwich to a new level. 😉
