Well hello there!
Good morning bread friends :)
Is there a space in your house where you spend the most time? The basement tends to be that space for me. This is where my office is, and also where my bakery is located.
My son was playing in the basement this morning before school, and when I came down here to get something he said to me, βItβs Thursday, so youβre coming down to write your bread letter?β
To which I responded, βIt is Thursday isnβt it!?! Thanks for the reminder buddy!β
π That was just a few minutes ago that he reminded me. π€©
It feels super cool that at 6 years old heβs so aware of the rhythms of our family, and is (apparently more aware than me) attentive to the day of the week.
This has been at least the 3rd little reminder this week that my kids are getting older and more responsible. Which just makes me want to cherish the fleeting years of their childhood even more.
Anyway⦠today is a short letter where I have two simple requests for you.
a) Click here to pre-order some bread for pickup this Saturday.
b) Click here to register to attend the bread party that I mentioned last week :)
πΎ You're invited to this party which will be an evening of bread tasting, meeting new friends, and hearing conversation about the ways in which a bread maker, a seed breeder, and a beer brewer are all doing work to affect change in our society.
